Mock exam papers, at Level 1 and Level 2 length
Each paper runs to the format of its level — 90 multiple-choice items in 135 minutes at Level 1, 44 questions across 11 vignette item sets in 132 minutes at Level 2. Weighted sessions are assembled from the bank to the published 2026 topic weights; mocks are sat as they came.

A part-paper gets a proportionate clock rather than a full session — 3 minutes an item at L2, 1.5 at L1. Unanswered items score as incorrect, the same rule as the computer-based exam. The clock running out does not end the attempt: it switches to counting overtime, and you submit when you are ready.
How to use a CFA® mock exam
A timed session under exam conditions first, then the score report and the topic drills for the marks. The same loop the CFA® Program's own guidance describes: sit it cold, read the autopsy, drill the weakest areas, sit the next one.
Full clock, flagging and section review, with a confidence level recorded against each answer: High, Medium or Low.
The answers are released at this point. Blanks are marked wrong, as they are in the test centre.
Score against the 65% MPS, broken down by topic and module, weakest first, with time spent on each question.
Filter to questions never attempted, previously wrong, or answered at low confidence, then sit the next session.
Topic coverage and 2026 exam weights
Each question is mapped to a curriculum area, and to its module where the source names one. Weights are the published 2026 ranges for the level shown; the last column is the bank's own mix, so you can see where it runs heavier or lighter than the exam.

Free BA II Plus and BA II Professional calculators

No. This is an independent practice environment built to behave like the computer-based testing driver used on exam day. The official mocks live in CFA Institute's own Learning Ecosystem.
Two sessions of 135 minutes, 90 multiple-choice questions each, with an optional break between them. Level 2 is two sessions of 132 minutes, 44 questions each, in vignette item sets of four. Papers here run to those same lengths, and a part-paper gets a proportionate clock.
Only two models: the Texas Instruments BA II Plus, including the BA II Plus Professional, and the HP 12C. Working versions of both TI models are free here, with no sign-in — confirm the current policy with CFA Institute before your sitting.
CFA Institute does not publish a pass mark. The report scores against a 65% reference line, which is the figure candidates generally treat as a working proxy for the minimum passing score — it is a yardstick, not the real MPS.
Not by signing up. Access is invite only: an owner adds a Google address to the allowlist, and can limit it to one level or set an end date. The calculators, though, are open to everyone.
